Ik heb tweemaal geprobeerd een kaartje te krijgen, maar het is niet gelukt. De website was overbelast, ticketscript was overbelast en na enkele minuten waren alle kaarten al weg..

Heb normaal niet zoveel met techno (hoewel, als het zo geschreven wordt moet ik er wel weer erg om lachen) maar er gaat een heel groepje meisjes die in mijn geheugen nog als superlief en onschuldig staat, en die tegenwoordig opeens, ten minste, voor mij opeens ongelooflijk losbandig zijn. Dat wil ik niet missen!

Er staan ook wel 'goa' avonden in gewone uitgaansgelegenheden tussen, maar zo nu en dan ook boemharde verstopte fissa's. Of D.A.F. 'echt' goa is kun je volgens sommige mensen die ik ken nog over discussiëren(heb zelf ook alleen verstand van gabber en eurodance) maar dat feestje volgende week in de Ruigoord kerk wordt in ieder geval écht heel tof!

►It all begun for Afgin around the mid 90's.

Somewhere around the summer of 1995 was his first experience with what was called then, Goa Trance. Those were the golden years of the Goa trance style,from the crazy full moon parties in Ko-phangan to the many colorful sunrises. That was a time of the underground parties in Israel.

Afgin remembers his first party when he 16 years old. Not more than 40 people there, but it was so powerful and different than what he had seen before, especially the strong message this music gave him, influencing him...and it still does today, also for many people around he world.

In 1998 he got curious at the making of this amazing tunes and started working on his computer with the Impulse Tracker program. Until today he still has those first old tunes he made.

In 2004 he finally build his home studio. His music is truly fully inspired from Goa trance, which is the rarest and most unique around on the scene today. He feels that he can send his message only through this powerful music, express himself and his inner feelings.

Afgin's music a mixture of emotions and psychedelic atmosphere wrapped around with positive energies. From Man With No Name, MFG, Astral Projection, Shakta to Transwave, they all have important part in is inspiration.

Afgin hopes to bring a new age of fine Goa days! Keep The Spirit Alive! Keep the Vibes alive,that is the need of our times and the true Goa spirit.

►Jannis Tzikas is a musician and sound designer based in Sweden. Growing up in the synthesizer era, the 80’s, left its musical marks in his life and a desire to produce electronic music. This naturally lead to start collecting equipment and composing at the age of 13. A few years later Filteria was formed.

His first album “Sky Input” was released in November 2004 on Suntrip Records. It immediately obtained an immense recognition from the Goa scene. In retrospect, Filteria is considered as the spearhead of the NewSchool trend. Jannis discography consists in 2010 of 4 full length albums and a number of tracks on compilations.

During 2007 the side project K.O.B. standing for Kind Of Behaviour was created with a more experimental and arguably darker side than Filteria. Besides the uptempo material, there are also downtempo and ambient beats in the making for an upcoming album.

From the ageHa club in Tokyo, to the paradise beaches of Brazil, to the northern parts of America, all over Europe and more. Jannis had gigs worldwide in over 20 countries and in many of the major festivals such as: Boom, Ozora, Antaris, Fullmoon Festival, Universo Paralello among others.

►Amir Dvir, was born in 1981 and currently lives in Tel Aviv, Israel.

His musical career began at the age of nine, when he started playing guitar. From that point, the path towards playing in underground heavy metal groups (in Israel) was short.

The turning point into the electronic music was shortly after he purchased his first PC computer with simple Sound Blaster card. He started using only audio software such as Scream Tracker, later to be followed by Impulse Tracker. These were the early, very early days of the Internet, and trackers, as they were called, were helping each other with advice concerning the tracking programs. That's how he discovered trance.

At home, he began writing and producing original music that got released on compilations under the name Luminus. During that period, he met up with DJ Shuki Edri. They later started producing music together. Together with Shuki and on his own he released lots of tracks on many compilations.

Ziet er inderdaad wel relaxed uit! Niets nieuw van artiesten, want ze zijn hier allemaal al wel vaak geweest, maar lekkere oldskool en nithzo in open lucht is natuurlijk nooit te missen! En Filteria heeft altijd al wel heerlijke sets gedraaid, ik ben ook wel present. Eindelijk terug wat nieuwe wind in het Belgische goa festival front, mogen wel wat nieuwe feesten bij de gevestigde bijkomen.

't is dacht ik dezelfde crew als de "Tales of the Sun" feestjes, en die zijn steeds al machtig geweest.
