Ik zat net wat te googlen en ik kwam de RC 5-IAI tegen en ik werd toch wat nieuwsgierig.

Wikipedia schreef:5-Iodo-2-aminoindane (5-IAI) is a drug which acts as a releasing agent of serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine.[1] It was developed in the 1990s by a team led by David E. Nichols at Purdue University.[2] 5-IAI fully substitutes for MDMA in rodents and is a putative entactogen in humans.[2] Unlike related aminoindane derivatives like MDAI and MMAI, 5-IAI causes some serotonergic neurotoxicity in rats, but is substantially less toxic than the its corresponding amphetamine homologue pIA, with the damage observed barely reaching statistical significance.[1]

Vooral het kleine vetgedrukte stukje wekte mijn interesse op.


Op een kleine abstract na zegt Erowid er helemaal niks over, wat ik best wel vreemd vind voor een drug die in de jaren 90 al gesynthetiseerd is...

The reason 5-IAI is less neurotoxic than amphetamines is likely due to it lacking the toxic metabolites of the class (like nasty alpha-methyldopamine) which normally severely aggravate the damage. This is because it's an aminoindane instead of phenethylamine and is therefore markedly different on a structural level -- it either does not reduce to the corresponding damaging metabolites or it still does but they are no longer active. You can see the same thing going on with 4-methylaminorex here, potent releaser but little to no neurotoxicity.

Dus... Heeft iemand hier ervaring mee? Het klinkt te goed om waar te zijn vind ik.
Nog even terzijde, naast 5-IAI poeder zag ik ook een paar sites "Green Beans" verkopen, een mix van 5-IAI en MDAI. Info over deze combinatie is ook altijd welkom.

Ik zag de green beans laatst ook bij toeval toen ik uit verveling op het internet aan het rondzwerven was. Zit erover na te twijfelen om het eens te halen voor de festivalperiode. Ben eigenlijk best wel heel benieuwd

Zijn er al mensen met ervaring van dit stofje? en hoeveel mg 5-iai is een goede startdosis?
